The amazing NSSLHA speech-language pathology students at the University of Central Missouri annually host a fun-RUN-raiser called the Mule Dash 5K. A little rain this year took them indoors but to no dismay! Funds were still raised for the RiteCare sponsored program on campus.
The Mule Dash 5K event funds help towards the University’s literacy program created for community families at the local library called “Saturday Stories & Slices.” This integral UCM Communication Department event is hosted at no cost to the families at five Saturdays throughout the school year and include lunch, drink, crafts and reading for the families.
